The 'Select Phone' dialog box will be available and presents a drop down window listing all the devices that CPA will work with.
The following example shows a Sony-Ericsson mobile phone file (flash file) being selected.
Notice you can then select the Flash Version and the Flash Type as well as the phone model from the Phone Model Library window that was populated with the models of Samsung phones that CPA can examine. The flash version may be necessary for some phones while others it is absolutely necessary to enter the flash version.
Also notice the 'Supported Phone Features' window allows you a quick reference of what to expect from the recovery process for the selected device. Refer to the green check-box icons next to the supported features.
Note we expect the list of phones and models to grow as new devices are introduced. We are currently attempting to provide access to the devices that are the more popular and are commonly being used. As code for new devices and models is developed the additions will be made available via program updates. (See Check For Updates.)
Note that in the list of devices is one named "Other". This "Other" selection allows the program to question you for more information and give you an option to access the Internet and add the information to our database of phones that will be considered for future support.
To move to the next step simply click on the 'Next>>' button.
